CARE COMMISSION REPORT

We are delighted with our recent Care Commission grading inspection report, carried out on 16th March this year (2009). Top line grading results are as follows: 

Quality of Management and Leadership: Very Good

Quality of Staffing: Very Good

Quality of Environment : Good

Quality of Care and Support: Good

Customer comments to Care Commission 'The nursery is absolutely wonderful. I can't think of anything I would change. In particular, the quality of staff is outstanding. They truly care about the children'. 

The Nursery  received a joint HMI/ Care Commission inspection in December 2009. This was very good, with inspectors spending a week at the Nursery. Overall, the inspectors thought the particular strengths of the Nursery are 'Children who are happy and enjoy learning', 'Children's access to fresh air, physical play and exploration outdoors' and  'Staff Teamwork in promoting a positive, friendly atmosphere'.  

Our previous 2007 Care Commission inspection was also very good, with the inspectors impressed by our extremely high standards. Our managers and staff are to be commended for creating such an outstanding environment for the children.
